Baitarani Gramya Bank(BGB) is one of the fastest growing regional banks in the state of Orrisa.The bank setup in 1980 has 104 branches in 2 districts of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.With an employee strength of around 420,Baitarani Gramya Bank is recruiting for 20 Officers & 97 Office Assistants.

Posts – Vacancies - Age limit- Payscale:

1) Officer Scale-I (Group-A) – 20 posts – 20yrs to 26yrs – Rs.10000 - 18240

2) Office Assistant(Clerical cadre) – 97 posts – 18 to 26yrs – Rs.4410 - 13210

Written Exam for Officer posts - 22.11.2009 || Office Assistant - 29.11.2009

Eligibility – for Officer Scale-I post,
* Must be a resident of Orissa & must know to read/write/speak in Oriya Language.
* Should have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks
* Knowledge of English & Oriya is required.

for Office Assistant posts,
* Must be a resident of Orissa & must know to read/write/speak in Oriya Language.
* Pass with minimum 55% marks in HSC Exam of 10+2+3 pattern OR
* Pass with minimum of 60% marks in Matriculation/Senior School Certificate OR
* A graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Selection : The selection process involves Written Test(objective & descriptive) & Interview for both the posts.Read the complete notification on bank website for more details.There are negative marks for each wrong answer in objective written test.
