Customer Support Engineer (IT Helpdesk)
Job Description:
> Provide high quality, real-time assistance to the operations team by handling their calls when faced with IT related problems, which could have an impact on the productivity. Help resolve customer issues over the call and escalate to technical support engineers if required.
> Diagnose and resolve basic problems, including password resets within a quick TAT
> Articulate the problem and try to arrive at the source of the problem
> Understand and use the issue resolution and tracking system effectively
> Escalate problems to Tier II support staff
> Analyze queries relating to both software and hardware and arrive at a quick diagnosis of the issue and initiate appropriate action
Candidate Profile:
> Graduate in any science stream
> Up to 2 years experience in customer contact and supporting IBM compatible personal computers
> Possess technical know-how of Clarify or ERM tool and a strong working knowledge of MS Office and Windows 95/98/2000/Xp/MAc
> Ability to work flexible schedule during day, night and weekend shifts
Experience: 1-2 Years
